CureSearch Fundraiser

Bobcat Republic Sock it to Cancer
This year the bobcat republic worked hard to get donations from family and friends to raise awareness about childhood cancer. They also raised money within school by competing to see which class could raise the most money. Through the support of the community and direction of the bobcat republic. Broadus Wood was able to raise over $1300 to support CureSearch in ending childhood cancer.
Great Job Bobcats!!
Mr. Nelson, School Counselor Bobcat Republic Advisor

Meet Mr. Nelson

My name is Miles Nelson and I am excited to be a counselor in Albemarle County Public Schools. This year I will be working between two schools, Baker-Butler Elementary and Broadus Wood Elementary. I had the wonderful opportunity to work in multiple school districts throughout Virginia such as Manassas Park City Schools, Greene County Schools, and Albemarle County Public Schools.
